Toddlerhood

Name Feelings: Help toddlers label their emotions.

Positive Redirection: Instead of just saying "no", try redirecting the behavior to a more positive behavior.

Early Childhood

Imaginative Play: Engage in pretend play to help children practice empathy, turn-taking and exploring different social scenarios.

Problem-Solving Steps: Teach children to use their words to express needs and help them brainstorm solutions to peer conflicts.

Middlehood

Emotional Check-Ins: Use daily check-ins to understand how that child is feeling. Learn the highs and lows of their day.

Mindfulness/Relaxation: Practice calming techniques such as grounding exercises or mindful breathing to manage frustration.
